My first two days of playing went really well on all medium settings. I was able to stream on discord to friends and play with my brother just fine. Day 3, it just started running slower, so I changed my settings to a mix between medium and low and adjusted my max frame rate. The past 2 days have been virtually unplayable, especially in any sort of combat (which is hard enough as it is, so its frustrating hitting a lag spike so bad I go from being full health and mid strike and then dead before I can even move), ship battles are even worse. According to Can You RUN It, everything except the video RAM meets the minimum. They say the Video RAM requires a MINIMUM of 10 gb, which is absurd if true. I have verified integrity of files and made sure all my drivers were updated. I really love this game and want to continue, but its virtually unplayable at this moment.

Ya, I got with my computer nerd friends and they also dont understand. Hopefully since it JUST entered early access it gets fixed soon

I am also noticing this especially after yesterdays patch. They did up the grass render distance and I wonder if that could be effecting it.

- Try rolling back your graphics card drivers to AMD Adrenalin 26.1.1 WHQL. We had reports of performance issues caused by the newest 26.3.1
- Disable Frame Generation (if enabled)
- Set FPS limit to 60
- Set render resolution scale to around 50%
- If you're using tools like MSI Afterburner or ASUS GPU Tweak, try reducing the overclock or reverting to default GPU clock settings. Overclocking can sometimes cause instability during longer play sessions.
- Increase virtual memory (page file) to 2× your RAM
