Offline Worlds: Unable to move items between them / writes over whatever is in inventory on entry

Upon changing worlds, the inventory of both my character and ship is overwritten with the same items every time.

I can remove the items and place them into storage and then log off and in and it duplicates them.

However if I put new items into my inventory (both character and ship) and then exit to main menu - no matter what world I log into the items have been removed and replaced with the same items again.

I have messed around and done some testing with the items, logging off and on to store them and increase the amount to then put them all in the ship inventory and see if they are removed or not.

I was under the impression it worked like Valheim where I can farm items in one world and then move them over into another.

(I have rebooted game but not the PC and problem persists)

Ship inventory overwrites with these same items, I did it three times to store them and then add them into ship inventory and it just reset all the items to the original amounts & removed any new items.

Hello! Do you run any mods in your playthrough?
You are supposed to be able to ferry items between worlds via your inventory & ship inventory, but duplicating is not expected.

I run absolutely no mods.

It could be due to my previous save becoming corrupted?

It kinda screwed me over because I farmed a load of stuff and it was then deleted when I moved back to other world 😂

(They seem to be the same items I had when I moved onto the world originally)

I've since turned off pc and will check if it changes anything tomorrow when I get home from work

BUG REPORTING GUIDE

Please share your game logs, game saves, crash dumps, and DxDiag. These are essential for diagnosing and fixing bugs.

HOW TO FIND LOGS

Game logs are located here:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\R5\Saved\Logs

Server logs are located here:
R5\Builds\WindowsServer\R5\Saved\Logs

To get there, open Steam, find Windrose in your library, right-click it, then go to Manage → Browse local files. From there, archive the files in the Logs folder and share them with us.

Please name your logs in a way that describes the problem, for example: Crashedwhile_fighting_Dodo.log

Your saves are located here:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\R5\Saved\SaveProfiles
Please close the game before archiving your saves!

If you are playing on a dedicated server:
• Stop both the client and the dedicated server.
• Find and archive your server logs and world save.

Dedicated server logs are located here:
R5\Saved\Logs

Dedicated server saves are located here:
R5\Saved\SaveProfiles

To get there, open Steam, find Windrose Dedicated Server in your library, right-click it, then go to Manage → Browse local files (or go to the folder where your Windrose Dedicated Server is stored).

Please close the dedicated server before archiving your saves.

Was able to unload Fiber on your main world, switched to Copper -> no Fiber in my inventory, no issues/errors in logs
