would be nice to be to have more than 8 players on a server at any 1 time

you can play with the config and increase this number, however we are not recommingin to play with more then 4 players on the server right now, as it could get very server dmanding during late game and when players spread around the map \ do multiple ships battles \ boardings etc. alos game systems like bosses are not scaling well with that many poeple.

optimizations that could allow mor people on the server could take a lot of time unfortunately, we are releaseing an update today with some naval optimization implemented, should become a bit better but it is still a long way to go
