My friends and I rented a server yesterday. At the beginning the lag on the server was ok but it is getting worse.
On foot, there is already noticeable lag. When traveling by boat, however, the issue becomes much worse we experience frequent lag spikes and rubberbanding. Roughly every 30 seconds to a minute, the speed suddenly drops to zero and the ship comes to a complete halt or slows heavily down.
Combat is also heavily affected. Fighting on foot is already difficult with lag and rubberbanding, but ship combat is nearly impossible.
