Me and my friend rented a server yesterday, so we can play independetly of eachother. But the lag on the server makes us wanna stop playing. On foot there is abit of lag, when we travel by boat there is quite some lagspikes/rubberbanding, like every 30 sec to 1 min speed dropps to 0 and ship halts.

When we fight on foot there is lag/rubberbanding but fighting with ships is almost impossible! Lagging game freezing every time we attack.

The server is starting, with the most recent fix, we were able to rule out backend-related causes, as the server was successfully migrated to a machine with more available resources.

Sailing as been improved a good bit, but still rubberbanding every 1-2 min, but ship combat is unfortunately a lag fest. Its manageable when its only 1 ship, but as soon as more than that enters lag is coming back. Only me playing on the server for now, so i cant check how it will be with more ppl, but i guess i wont get better 🙂

Looks like that did it! Only a tiny bit of lag when there is 6+ ships attacking, and that i can live with! 😊
