#Difficulty settings on dedicated server
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
You may want to try changing the difficulty setting to "Custom" in the config file. That file can be accessed by turning the server offline then clicking on Config Files then changing the difficulty in that file to custom. After that, try changing the modifiers.
same i tried that one
custom config and then it still reverse
it reverses
how the this happens to me
Please give me a few minutes to look into this.
ok i stop the server already thank you
If you've not already you might try changing it to custom saving then start the server without changing the modifiers yet. After that, stop the server and ensure it is still on custom. If it is then try changing the modifiers.
@jovial vine
the modifier is different
it is not in the same config
same look like it is Normal Mode again
Nothing changes
Could u pleae wait for me a bit , the change in the server will be reverse to normal again
The names are slightly different on the webinterface however, they are the same settings. You can see the exact configuration setting by going to the top and clicking on 'show internal names (like the configuration file)'
Specifically, which are you changing the settings in? The configuration file or the webinterface?
a sec please
i change in the config file.
see
it reverses
server still running but it reverse to the "Normal"
I do not know what to do
i have done too many times but still the same
reverse revese and reverse
what should i do right now?
@jovial vine
I am currently asking our team if there's any known cause. We'll keep you updated as soon as possible.
Y__Y i can't play this game right now , Alright thank you.
@jovial vine so how i can download the save file on the server and open on my PC
You'd need to use an FTP client such as WinSCP or CyberDuck and use the FTP credentials on the dashboard part of the webinterface (it's near the bottom of the page) to connect to it.
*As a note, there have been some that have stated that FileZilla (another popular FTP option) has caused issues with their Windrose files. So I'd recommend sticking to either WinSCP or CyberDuck for this.
You can find the save files under: /windrose/R5/Saved/SaveProfiles/Default/RocksDB/0.10.0/Worlds/
(The save folder has a name that's a combination of random letters and numbers)
You can download directly from FTP into your game's folder where the saves are. Typically you can find the path to your game's folder by going into Steam, right clicking on the game in the library >> manage >> browse local files
hello , same for me , i change the difficulty lvl , but nothing change :/ , i tryed everything and no change @jovial vine
@hollow current can you create a separate ticket for this? Please include your user ID number

Don't rent nitrado everyone the server can't change difficulty this will be ruined your day i quit and making offline to play with my friend already.
