Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue when trying to log into the game via NVIDIA GeForce Now. I can’t get past the initial loading screen on my account.

When I log in with a different account, the game loads and works fine. However, with my own account, the problem persists—even when I try on another PC.

I also attempted to fix this by resetting my save file on an other PC. This works as long as I don’t use cloud save. Unfortunately, when using GeForce Now, cloud saves are always enabled, which brings the issue back.

Could you please help me resolve this? I really enjoy the game and would love to continue playing—I already spent 16 hours on my first day!

Thanks for the report! You should be able to disable Steam Cloud if you press Shift+Tab - it should show Steam overlay. The issue itself is related to Steam cloud corrupting the save during sync.

We got info from GFN - they confirmed that you need to contact them directly and ask then to remove your save files on GFN cloud machine. This will make you lose progress, unfortunately.

Also this generally makes playing the game through GFN rather risky right now, while we're still working on fixes for various critical issues, including save corruption.
Currently all our workarounds and even troubleshooting require player to have access to local save files and GFN does not provide access to files, so if it happens again - we won't be really able to help except suggesting fully deleting your progress again.

Your progress is saved in a local saved folder, that gets uploaded to steam cloud and is synced with it (and currently can get corrupted in the process). Thats the reason we suggest turning Cloud Sync off - you don't really need it if you're playing on one PC, but it can cause serious issues, while we're working on a fix.

Turning it off on GeForce NOW does not work. I have been in contact with NVIDIA, and they advised me to wait, as they are unable to delete my save file from their end. At this point, I am unsure how to proceed.

Gforce doesn’t work even with cloud fave off…

Well, GFN should be able to delete local saves on their end, it was their own recommendation for us. Maybe it just takes time, until they get to your case.

We don't officially support linux for our current dedicated server, so you'd have to check server logs and you machine logs, sorry.
