I’ve been playing using the GeForce now from my Xbox I left the game earlier to do something and when I came back I was kicked out due to no activity which is perfectly normal but when I tried to load back into the game it’s just had me stuck on the loading screen I’ve hard reset and try to reload the game 10+ times in the last 3 hours but no luck what so ever😩

Thanks for the report! It seems to be a problem with Steam cloud corrupting saves.
It can be fixed by disabling steam cloud and removing you "C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\R5\Saved\SaveProfiles" folder, but it will make you lose progress.
To try to save progress, we have only two solutions that aren't guaranteed, but helped in some cases.
Solution 1
- Close the game, turn off steam cloud saves in game setting on the games page in your steam library.
- Go to
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Local\R5\Saved Make a backup of this folder just in case, then delete it. - Launch the game - it should ask you to create the new character. Do it.
- Close the game and enable steam cloud saves back.
- When Steam finds a conflict in save files, choose the Steam Cloud version.
Soltion 2
- Disable steam cloud saves
- Go to %Localappdata%\Local\R5\Saved\SaveProfiles(profile-id-numbers)\RocksDB\0.10.0\Accounts(account-id-numbers)\CURRENT
- Open with any text editor (notepad), it will contain text like MANIFEST-000005
- In same folder look for file called MANIFEST-XXXXXX
- If file name is not the same as from CURRENT step 3 - rename it to match step 3.
People report this solutions working for them, but we can't be sure they'll help you.
Solution 1 did not fix the issue. Continues to stay on loading.
Solution 2, my CURRENT file had MANIFEST-000065, but the folder contained MANIFEST-000025 and MANIFEST-000065. I changed the CURRENT text to the 25 with no luck

If you don't have access to your local game save, we won't be able to troubleshoot your issue. Game is officially supported on Windows.

We just got info from GFN - they confirmed that you need to contact them directly and ask then to remove your save files on GFN cloud machine. This will make you lose progress, unfortunately.
Also this generally makes playing the game through GFN rather risky right now, while we're still working on fixes for various critical issues, including save corruption.
Currently all our workarounds and even troubleshooting require player to have access to local save files and GFN does not provide access to files, so if it happens again - we won't be really able to help except suggesting fully deleting your progress again.

Hi Cubert I’ve spoken to GFN and they said they’ll look into it and email me my only concern is I’ve tried something so I made a new GFN because I thought if my original accounts corrupted then making a new one will fix it and it didn’t I’m still getting the same problem I was wondering if there’s a way to delete the cloud saves for windrose from my laptop? At this point I don’t really care about starting again😅
