mouse is not controlling anything in game now,... played a couple hours earlier with no issues, now It wont do any actions, and even getting into the game it doesnt activate any of the buttons, have to use enter key to get the buttons to "click", in game no actions working at all

intermittently it seems, I was able to get back in and play for a bit, and then it happened again

Can you provide your logs, so we can check if its the game causing it?

Thank You.. No major rush over someone elses worse issue.. I can play , just sometimes I have to try going into game 5 or 6 times to get it to work

Also what mouse are you using? Does it have any kind of specific software for settings management, RGB control, etc.?

Is it connected to a passive USB HUB (i.e. a one powered from your PC rather than via external power brick) ?

it is a 2.4ghz mouse with rgb, but no controller function for the lights... just an on/off switch .. it is wireless, I forget what brand it is probably 5 or 6 years old now, Have not had any issues with it in any other games I am playing , If You think it is my mouse I am happy to see if I can dig up one of my older wired ones ( if I can find it.. lol )

No specific dedicated settings manager for it, just the basic Windows tools

@lethal ingot , ahh ok, I was thinking it was possibly something deeper than what I had done previously which was to remove the dongle briefly and put it back.. I saw on the Googler about pushing a reset button with paper clip, etc.. but mine does not have that feature, thank you for taking the time to offer suggestions, Appreciate You

@lethal ingot I am not sure, it is old , I dont think it is any major brand name, has no labels on it .. at least not anymore if it did have at all

@lethal ingot Yea, I was looking at a few once it was suggested It may be my mouse even though its fine in other gaames.. I will for sure check out the Model-D , Thank You

New Mouse, used wired, and wireless.. still having the same Issue

@lethal ingot , @uneven reef I think I may have "sort of" solved the issue I am continuing to have .. even after buying and using a new mouse both wired, and wireless, the issue persists.. however , I believe now that it is tied to my Graphics Card, I started to notice that when the game would launch from Steam there would be a very brief switch over or something that will "blink" my screen, and it seems that every few times the "blink" will take longer and the game opens and that is when the mouse wont do anything, I turned off all of the resolution notifications that used to pop up when the game would load, and the Nvidia display tools of FPS monitoring, temp. monitor.. etcc, Now the issue happens much less often , again .. I have seen these "blinks" when other games would launch and not had any issue with the mouse actions..

You can mark this Solved if You wish, I wont report on this issue any further unless something changes and it gets worse again

@lethal ingot , that was the first thing I did when I realized the "blink" was happening , Updated the drivers and turned off all the "extras"
