#Suddenly unable to pickup anything dropped

Hi there, I seem to suddenly be unable to pick up with interact (E) anything that has been dropped - such as drops from enemies, items myself or my co-op partner drops, ore or resources that drop. I am still able to pick up anything that already exists in the world, like wood or stone on the beach, or ingredients/flora, or interact with containers, crafting stations, ships, and the like.

This has suddenly started happening and is pretty game breaking. I cannot seem to resolve it. I do see in the logs some errors about inventory capacity being 0, which sounds like it may be related(?):

I've tried messing with my inventory and capacity to try and get back to a decent state, but no luck.

fwiw, i've tried

  • Restarting
  • Verifying game files
  • Empting inventory and all equipment into a container
  • Unstuck

Do you run any mods? Increased stacks or smthnk like that?

No, totally vanilla. Hosting a co-op game with 1 friend, although I tried loading the same save in solo/offline as well and same result. It's possible it started happening after a death, but I can't be sure.

Can you provide whole client & server log so we can look at it?

For now - i'd suggest you to try and rollback to your previous saves at 20260419_192537 and see if the issue reproduces there?

Just tried rolling back, but seems like the issue is still present there too

Hey @unkempt gyro , unfortunately yeah, just loaded my game and same result

fwiw, a new char on the same save can pick stuff up. So seems specific to that character.
