hi my game is stuck on the starting load screen tried resetting computer verifying files i have tried 7 time to get the game to mian menu but all gets stuck on loading screen and some times gose to a screen where in bottem left say quit pls help was play the game fine at my girl freinds on my other computer

Hello, it looks like you have encountered an isseu where your save go corrupted. I am very sorry that this happened 🙁 We are currently investigating the root cause for this, but we are still not sure why this is happening. The most common issues is the Steam Cloud interference, and happens more to people who are playing from multiple devices.
There are currently three options on how it is possible to restore your save, that was corrupted before today's update, but unfortunately nothing is guaranteed 🙁
Option 1:
Disable steam cloud saves
%Localappdata%\Local\R5\Saved\SaveProfiles(some numbers)\RocksDB\0.10.0\Accounts(some numbers)\CURRENT
Open with any text editor (notepad), it will contain text like MANIFEST-000005
In same folder look for file called MANIFEST-XXXXXX
If file name is not the same as from CURRENT step 3 - rename it to match step 3.
Option 3:
Delete the SaveProfile folder
Turn on Steam cloud and try to restore your save from the cloud
try launching the game
If none of this work, I'm afraid your save is corrupted and can not be restored.
Delete the Saveprofile folder and it should load you into the game.
Very sorry that this happened! We currently recommend disabling steam cloud saves sync, to reduce chances that this will be happening.
Starting from today we have implemented save backups functionality (rough one), every time you launch the game you would no have a back up of your save file.

yes you can start over. you need to do the following:
you need to find the SaveProfiles folder and delete it.
To do this:
Disable steam cloud (it oculd be a bit inconvinient if you are playing on multiple PCs, but for now we recommend keeping it off, as it could be a reson why your save got corrupted)
how to disable steam cloud saves:
In steam, rioght click on Windrose app. Select Properties.

Starting from today we have save backup functionality in the game, everytime you launch the game the game would create a copy of your save. So if, god forbid, you would have this issue again you would have an ability to restore majority of your progress.

So I am also stuck on the loading screen not even reaching main menu or character, I've never played the demo so i have no saved profiles, and ive been at this for 3 going on 4 hours. I bought the game but today was the first day i tried to start the game.
