Hello and yarr, I have made all the foothills discoveries but have not unlocked the building recipes for:
-Reagent table
-Anvil
-Cooking shelf
I have broken/picked up the materials for each of the above stations and it still did not unlock the building ability for me. Am I cooked?
I have also tried logging/relogging.

It looks like you haven't touched Footlands Iron Ore / Ingots.
Do you run any mods by any chance?

No mods, I have touched Footlands Iron Ingots but not ore. I'll try that next!
