#stuck on loading screen

Hi, I'm trying to join a game with my friend, but it's stuck on the loading screen

do I understand correctly that you are using a Host from game option, or you are trying to connect to a dedicated server?

I'm experiencing this problem even when entering a single-player game.

correct, both offline and online.
okay... so it looks like you are expereincing not a connectivity issue but a save corruption issue. have you played on several devices lately? there is a think with cloud saves that could lead to saves being corrupted if playing on several devices. very sorry that you have experienced that ๐
last time when you played, were there any crashes, may be an elecriticty cut off or something like that? and were you able to to start the game after the update?

Please share your game logs, game saves, crash dumps, and DxDiag. These are essential for diagnosing and fixing bugs.
HOW TO FIND LOGS
Game logs are located here:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\R5\Saved\Logs
Server logs are located here:
R5\Builds\WindowsServer\R5\Saved\Logs
To get there, open Steam, find Windrose in your library, right-click it, then go to Manage โ Browse local files. From there, archive the files in the Logs folder and share them with us.
Please name your logs in a way that describes the problem, for example: Crashedwhile_fighting_Dodo.log

Please close the game before archiving your saves!
If you are playing on a dedicated server:
โข Stop both the client and the dedicated server.
โข Find and archive your server logs and world save.

Dedicated server saves are located here:
R5\Saved\SaveProfiles
To get there, open Steam, find Windrose Dedicated Server in your library, right-click it, then go to Manage โ Browse local files (or go to the folder where your Windrose Dedicated Server is stored).
Please close the dedicated server before archiving your saves.

Please also include your DxDiag report. This is your PC specifications in .txt format:
โข Press Win + R.
โข Type dxdiag and press Enter.
โข When the tool opens, click Save All Information.
โข Save the .txt file and attach it to your report.

Because I previously loaded the game onto a slip, the logs are not visible right now.

it looks like your save got corrupted and may not be resotred ๐
we are looking into an issue with steam cloud saves aht lead to this.
starting from today we have implemented s save backup functionality that provides backups for you every time you launch a game and you should be able to have a backup now.

At the moemnt we suggest to turn off steam cloud saves whiel we are investigating this.

Me too a lose all my progress @echo sandal i do all the stuff but idk now how we gonna play online! If we pay for that too , now till waith the Dev fix this and wait for other update!

What kind of server are you trying to play on?
