Hi folks. As someone in the software industry I see you! Understand the crunch time and appreciate the work the teams are putting in to make a great experience.
I’m running a mid tier hosted Nitrado Server, we rotate between 4-7 players at any given moment. Rubber banding is somewhat common and ship combat can have some hitreg issues. This is understandable (especially as the game doesn’t recommend more than 4 players)
The biggest issue is the server will freeze several times a day and go offline, but the Nitrado server tools report it as online. It looks like it caps out on ram utilization maybe? I don’t see anything of note in the logs.
Any thoughts on improving this behavior? We can work around some rubber banding but I’m struggling to keep the server “up” for my group without 24/7 monitoring.
