Yes I have but it is saying that my cloud is ok
I’ve been going through my steam and I can’t find a way to fix it
Can I ask how it matters if its from different PC or not?
If im using Linux and switch proton version does that count as a different PC because the game was crashing on cachyos proton, so i switched to GE proton, the game crashed again so I just went to back to cachyos proton and I lost my save because it got corrupted
ALSO HAVING THIS ISSUE!
People keep saying just load a backup but i dont have a backup because its a different pc. Dont know what to do. My main screen looks the same aswell
Steam cloud "ok" only shown you that syncronization with the cloud is working
Save itself is corrupted
Disable cloud saves first
Press Win+R -> %localappdata%\R5
Delete "Saved" folder
Your progress will be lost though, sorry :(
So I can’t just copy my saved folder, delete windrose, reinstall and place the saved back in?
If your save is corrupted - it means your current save is broken. If you've played yesterday after the update - you might have a backup.
But if it's first time playing since few days ago - your save is gone
we will test it tonight!
Will this be handled a bit more graciously in the future ? (i.e. invalidating the save and displaying an error message on boot) 👀
Dealing with cloud saves in general is our top-1 priority right now after we've released direct IP connection
I mean, you will occasionally get corrupted save in the field no matter of what, and the game should be ready for it rather than locking the user out of main menu :3

we had to uninstall the game removed all files for windrose then it worked like you said it was the saved files and .sentry-native and it worked again!
