#Character load on a different device

you could maybe manually copy the save over to your steamdeck?
Ill try this way, but I thought the charlist connects to the steam account and syncs via cloud)
it should sync trough steam cloud, but there seems to be some issues where people even loose their characters due to steamcloud so the devs recommend making backups, in fact they just pushed a patch that forces savegame backups, so something is not working right with steamcloud right now.
ok thank you
wait! don't sync yet
can you please tell me first when you have encountered this issue?

hello, is it a correct data you asked for?
hello, yes. it does look like your save is corrupted. very sorry about that 🙁
as a last resort option you could try deleting your saveprofile folder and try recovering it through steam cloud. if it doesnt help, i'm afraid the only viable opotion is starting from scratch by deleting the folder.
On Sunday, April 19th we have released an update that backups your saves automatically every time the game or the server launches, so if you have played a session after Sunday 19th's update you have a save back up.
but for the time we are inestigating this, we are suggesting to disable steam cloud saves
ok, I see, thanks for your help and good luck
I ma very sorry that you have run into this issue sir 🙁
dont worry its ok
