#Main menu wont load

Hi, I’m having an issue launching Windrose - it won’t load into the main menu properly.

It either gets stuck on the loading screen or loads a broken menu where only a pink “Exit” button appears and nothing else.

I think it might be related to an overlapping or corrupted Steam Cloud sync file.

I’ve already tried restarting, verifying files, reinstalling the game, turning off Steam Cloud, and deleting local save/config files, but nothing has fixed it.

At this point I’m not worried about the save data - I just want the game to launch normally.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Good day. Just want to confirm that this is not the first time you are playing the game and you have already played previously

I understand and very sorry that you have encountered this issue.

Can you please confirm that you are able to get to main menu after you delete your saves?

having the exact same issue. either endless loading or pink exit button.
you can only see mainmenu after you turn off cloudsave then make a new character. but when using cloudsave again its this problem@hollow adder
