I am noticing an issue with response time related to my dedicated server. The device has 14 CPU cores and 36gb of DDR4 2400mhz ECC RAM. It is backed by a Gen3 m.2 NVMe. I generally have 3 other players in game, and if we are all in the same area, disk response time is under 1ms. However, if we are all dispersed across the map, disk response time can climb up to 100ms peaks, generally floating from 10-60ms. Is there any tuning I can do server side to improve this? Or any suggestions? I am open to providing any logs or information that would be useful, I have multiple Valheim and Ark servers on this same host, on different drive arrays and CPU's that dont appear to be having this problem. I will eventually have 10 or so players on this world with me, and would like to have this fixed before its unplayable for all of us! Thank you!

I've tuned every setting I can seem to locate, to no avail. Anyone who was able to remediate high disk response times, input would be useful.
Good day sir, at the current moement we are not recommending to play with groups larger then 4. AS just as you have mentioned when players disperse across the map it could get laggy, especially close to the end game and sea battles. plus game systems are not scaling too well for larger group currently (like bosses for example)
It's happening even for solo players on the dedicated server, I cant tune out the response time. Unfortunately it seems to be something we'll have to live with until I can try getting a docker image up with it
