So people have played today and say the server is still laggy on the Sea.
It got to a point where when you turned the wheel, you could see it frame by frame. That boarding became impossible with the lag/stuttering happening

Can you please tell how many players you play with on that server?
It starts at 3, then gradually gets worse over time.
Can easily have 3 and notice a big difference in performance drains. Especially when turning a helm at the ship. It's not so noticeable on land, it's mostly when you set foot on a ship and or do sea combat.
in general we are not recommending to play with groups largerr then 4, as performance could get whaky aspecially during large naval battles... but three should not be a big problem.
Can you try rebooting your server and sww if it helps?
I have already done that as of yesterday, then restarted for the update later today, it is still consistent.

You should see much fewer issues with th eground part of the game. Ocean part is something we are deffinately going to look at, but it's hardcore engineering and could take time. Especially if you get to endgamae and start simultanious boarding whie using firgates it could easily spawn 100+ NPCs fighting simultaniously... and since Windrose multiplayer runs on a single server it's hard to implement any sort of sharding or things like that thet you can see in MMOs. But we believe we know how to improve thingsm it could just take a onsiderable ammount of time.

Yes, overall connection related situations should have improved
Had more rubberbanding today when the 4th person joined today. It's noticeable also when people join since it lags too.
The available option would be to relocate the server to Frankfurt, Germany, do you want to proceed with the relocations?
