When you have a bed close to another interactable object, like storage, you can't interact with the bed.
In this photo, I can't interact with either of them. Also, interacting with the storage chest in the middle is wonky, and you have to look in JUST the right spot.
I've only tested with the early headboard bed and storage chest, so I don't know if this is an issue with other beds/storages/items, as well.
Edit: Just tried it with a table, can't interact with either bed.
