FPS to barely 20 FPS. I was since the start running on custom/high settings falsely. I have even changed things to low and nothing seems to help.
I have updated to the latest NVIDIA drivers that dropped yesterday, to no improvements.
I have attached everything that was listed in the Bug Reporting guide.
Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X
Memory: 32GB RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080
I have video as well if needed.

Do you have very many torches or other lights on your base?
And is FPS fine when you move away from your base?

when everything was working great I was running upscaler on DLSS and Med to high settings

Seems very wierd to be honest, full GPU load on 31 degree
FSR Ultra performance so very low render resolution

downgrading to the last driver didn't help
correction, i was able to actually turn on DLSS for upscaler and it looks better lol. I am not getting close to 20 to 30 as too 20 and less
i am going to backup my profile and saves, uninstall and reinstall and start over to see if that does anything

Hi! Can you check power management mode in nvidia control panel? If it's anything other than maximum performance, can you set it to that and see if the game performs better?

it was set to normal, so I changed to Prefer Max which is the only thing I have.

I think I am going to run the DDU tool and strip the driver and then fresh reinstall
loaded Starrupture and I was getting low fps there as well with max GPU 🙁

Hm, maybe it comes with some sort of GPU overcloking/tuning. What's your GPU's vendor, eg ASUS, MSI?

Interesting. It seems, memory target is very high, much higher than stock 1400 mhz, and that may be drawing power from GPU chip. Can you try slowly lower memory clock and see if GPU clock rises?

It seems it can be a hardware issue, I tried googling and it's either a driver issue or hardware issue
Can you do a DDU and check several games if performance is stuck at this low?

ya, I might have to just take my machine in to my local shop and see what they think
i ran the furmark app and its holding around 25 to 30s
I should be getting close to 100+
or it could just be Windows and their latest patch

i did the DDU in safe mode, but I only uninstalled the GPU drivers. Once I got back into Windows 2 mins later Windows reinstalled it 🤦♂️

other games play fine, but the FPS overall just isn't where it should be for what I have

for the light and fan, it can be powered by the PCIE itself.
So now, you need to check il all the thing is plugged :p

i went into Safe mode, ran DDU and removed everything. Then I disable the nic so it wouldn't connect to the internet on bootup. Then Installed 576.88 from last year
which I now see was not the one I was wanting, I wanted the driver prior to the current one
then once that was installed I reenabled the nic

I would start with rolling back the drivers normally. If that doesn't help, I would then have them reseat the video card. I think what happened, my pc is an area that covers the top where my usb ports are. So I have to pull it out in order to get to them. Well when I pulled it out it drops down a little which shacks the case (not bad just small amount), anyways I got the usb plugged in getting ready to do the BIOS update and noticed the clock changed
So in my case it might have been the card some how lost a little connection enough for it to work, but not work
