Will there be a way to reobtain the boar whistle? Wife and I did the quest before the bug fix was implemented and we just learned that it was even a thing.

It can actually be done differently

Just clear all the mosters from POI, put faast traevel nearby

#

Create new character, hop into old world, quickly run to the POI and do the sacrifice

#

Bam, you have your whistle
