Hi @cursive horizon , how does the progression in Co-op work? My understanding is that someone must host a session for others to join in. In this way the players can join that session and play together (Co-op). My exact doubt is regarding the quest progression. Does one player's progression get carried to the rest of the players even if they haven't contributed or joined the session the second time?

Lets start with that you can either use a pre-existing character, or make new one.

You can starts a new game for co-op, or use one you have already started for solo.

Mind you , if you do a game that you have already started , that means people can mess with the world you got going already.

So, I would suggest , even if with someone you trust , start a new world. It will keep your characters current progress going , just you have to unfog the map again.

Looking for some help. I hosted a game last night for some friends, but when they logged in solo today all their camp, storage, and things they built in it was gone. So how does co-op really work if we can't progress independently together?

when you host, its on your game . its not in theirs.

So you progress story wise and such, but in their own game , they wont have what they built or looted in your game.

If they have it on them or on their ship , they hang on to it, otherwise , they need to come back on to your game to get items they gathered for themselves.

Gotcha! So co-op is really to help, not play together all the time. Would a dedicated paid server solve this?

Mind you , some people just play with certain others , so when that person is on , they are as well. There for its not an issue most times.

I run three game saves. I keep one for just simply resource farming if needed. One for " testing players " to see if they are chill and okay to play with. And then last, my main game.

Most times I am jumping in to other peoples games to help out, so I just bring what I need and anything I gather , I leave for them.

Okay, so , when it coems to the cannons , well, you can buy some better ones then that starter one. and in the end , its personal prefrance.

@hollow orbit, the cannon qualities that you can get are > Tempered, Perfectly Ordered , and Devastating You and then assend these to improve their stats too and add an extra perk.
