I read through this thread and tried everything that was recommended, and nothing worked, i even asked a buddy of mine who is an IT guy and he couldnt fix the issue. i can host a server, but no one else can join me,

can you please provide more details:

  1. what kind of server you are trying to play on? host from game \ self hosted dedicated server \ rented server
  2. can you enter and play an offline game?
  3. can you create a Host game?
  4. can the friedn that you are tyring to play can create a Host game?
  5. Where are you from?
  6. WHat is the name of your ISP?

Do you hink you can try to hook you pc to a hot spot by using your mobile phone and tell me if it will let you to connect that way?

we are encountering issues with some ISP blocking our backend sites that help to establish connection between players. We do not know how and why it happens and are working on a work around for this.

Some ISPs have apps \ websites where they allow to see if you have some extra strict rules enabled to what kind of sites are available to you, or you can find windrose.support domain blocked if tehre's a list of blocked sites there. Perhaps you could find a solution for yu there (large IPS like Spectrum have this issues)

  1. if it doesn't help, you can try to install this app: https://one.one.one.one/, it act like a VPN-lite, and helps to bypass IPS restrictions

So i did install that app. It didn't help but i will read though everything you sent. And will up date if it works

after installing the app you also need to turn the service on. it sits in your tray

@brisk thorn I have followed all the steps in here and my gf who is in the same appartment still can't join me when im hosting we played fine last night but this morning it won't work

It just kicks her back to the main menu I can't join her host either

can´t join my server - is in last played list but not active when i use invite code fault "server not found"
