Using Backspace while naming ship

Well as the name says the backspace doesn't work properly sometimes.
It'll delete part of the name and then it stops leaving letters still there even when you want to delete it all.
Add this to the menu shortcuts (A,E,D,etc) being active while typing names for both ships and tags and it can become a frustrating endeavour to name anything.
It doesn't always happens and i'm yet to figure out what triggers it.

any update, encountering this bug on the endgame ship wasn't a hassle on smaller ship for some reason
