Hello guys, i am running a Windrose Dedicated Server instance from Steam on device A. When I launch Windrose from device B using the same steam account i get a session error that doesn't allow me to play until i close the server session from device A. Isn't this a bug? Thank you!

Thanks for the report, we'll look into this.

It's not a bug per se. The server will hook to SteamWorks if Steam Service is present but it doesn't require it.

Start the server without having Steam running.

You can try 2 options.

  1. On device A move the dedicated server installation folder to another place and run it directly via StartServerForeground.bat
  2. Create a new Steam account, search for Windrose Dedicated Server in Tools section and run it from that account (dedicated server app doesn't require purchasing the game)
