I have tried just about everything to get on with my wife and it infinitely sits at the loading screen then crashes out of the game on steam deck. please help me?

we currently have an issue where two devices from the same network are having problems connecting.
can you please tell me if both you and your wife can create a host game without any problems?

I have been able to host my own session but only for a minute or so before it crashes out of the game entirely.

We have some issues with local network connectivity for now. It's on our to fix list and we are workign hard to get it out, but it could take some time :(.
Three thress things I've seen so far that helped other people are:
Disabling riot Vanguard (if you play riot games)
Setting up DMZ in router to establish connection
Just simply connecting two devices with wired connection

I have no clue what those fixes are I don't know about DMZ or anything router related.

if one of the devices (or both) are on wifi, do you hink you can connect them via ethernet to the internet?

Unfortunately I don't either sir 🙁
this is just one of the things that helped other player who had a similar issue
as I mentioned we are trying to come up wit ha propper solution for this aw we speak but it could take some time
