While I was playin with my buddy earlier, he tried to make a ship but didn't have the recipe for it. We both did the ketch quest together, and completed it while we both were in the same world. How can he get the recipe for it?

Does your buddy have a ketch of his own?

If he completed the quest he should have his own ketch available

Just keep in mind that after you turn in resources - every player has to talk to ketch wreck separately

I cannot recall the very first ship the game gives you. I press K but nothing happens so i cant leave my starting island and progress any further
