Title:
When entering storage random items come out of the box on the floor. This has been happening since I started playing the game 3 days ago.

Suggestion:
Diagnose and fix

Details:
This appears to be quite random, I kept finding items on the floor and then missing items from my inventory - I just came back with full inventory and start putting things away and the 'pike-man hat' has dropped somewhere - no idea where that's gone.

Mainly it's items from storage - not always full stacks - that just end up on the floor as you enter the storage to place items. Most of the time I don't notice until I come out of the storage UI and then see items close by or on the box

Logs / Saves / DxDiag:

BUG REPORTING GUIDE

Please share your game logs, game saves, crash dumps, and DxDiag. These are essential for diagnosing and fixing bugs.

HOW TO FIND LOGS

Game logs are located here:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\R5\Saved\Logs

Server logs are located here:
R5\Builds\WindowsServer\R5\Saved\Logs

To get there, open Steam, find Windrose in your library, right-click it, then go to Manage → Browse local files. From there, archive the files in the Logs folder and share them with us.

If you are playing on a dedicated server:
• Stop both the client and the dedicated server.

Please close the dedicated server before archiving your saves.

This is also happening in my game. This also happened in the demo as well. And no, also not using mods.

Please, make a separate bug report thread if you have issues

I'm working away now for a bit so using GeForceNow to play so will upload when I get back in a couple of weeks if you haven't resolved by then. I will say this though, it wasn't limited to storage, it could come out from my toolbar - so a weapon would drop - (rare) or my own back-pack.

Also... so you know this happens on GeForceNow so that would be a fresh install after the latest update I guess.

This is really frustrating, from finding out you dropped your pick somewhere and there stone in it's place when you go to use it or land on an island to find your bell isn't in your inventory but back on your pier from when you were dropping items into the trade box... I found loads of items out the back of my kitchen where they were going through the wall onto the ground outside... and my sword I lost was there.

Is there literally nobody else reporting this issue?

The only way not to have this happen is by using Q to drop items in a box, but when taking items this can be quite frequent.

As I mentioned I only have access to GeforceNow at the moment - so what this does show is that it's save related rather than game related.

I can say that it seems to happen more when playing solo
