Doctor Galen is nowhere to be found

I noticed Doctor Galen just wasn't there at one point when I started building my house. He used to walk around my bonfire, but all of a sudden, he was gone. I didn't care.
I just got my big boat and it says to talk to the doctor... but he is not there. I activate him at the bonfire. He is not there. I dismiss him. Not there. I reinvite him. Not there. I delete the bonfire and replace it. I re-activate him. Not there. I delete the bonfire and exit the game. I come back in the game and re-install the bonfire. Re-activate the doctor. Not there.

Thanks for the report! You need to use your Bonfire and resettle Galen through the NPC menu.

That worked. I had to dismiss him, go to a different bonfire, and re-activate him. TY.

This did not work for me, We encountered galen on another friends server and now it isn't showing up in our new game, even if we reset him in the bonfire

Try removing all your bonfires, then buildig one and resettling Galen
