Shared Progress suddenly doesn't work anymore

I play with a friend and we don't have shared progress anymore.
For the first few parts of the first quest WE think it worked. (bonfire and workbench definitely worked) Around the time we got to killing a boar we noticed it stopped. It was mid-session and we played a second session since. It's definitely turned on in the server settings. I host the server from the game client.
We have to do everything twice, even on the first island, when you find the skeletons in a circle, we had to fight them twice so we both get the loot. I think that's not supposed to happen?

I see. Even with the "shared quest" option enabled, not all quests are shared. Only quests that marked with this note can be completed as "shared". And you have to be exactly on the same stage of the quest for it to count for all players.

Hey, thanks for clarifying. We only play together so it's not Like we're on different stages. I will check next time we play if it's still an issue. 🙂
