2 of my friends have not finished the devourer quest and i helped them, thing is they both died and spawned at base and i finished off the devourer boat, now they said the quest did not finish on their side, how do they finish this quest if the devourer ship is already destroyed?

having the same issue, any boss fight or quest item if they die during the process they have to remake an entire new world and rush back through it? crazy

yea they deff need to figure that out, playing with friends is cool but not being able to progress unless you make a new world is game breaking

i am using the dedicated server as well, we just fought the unsinkable on the dedicated, they didn't get the quest i did. loaded up a new world and worked our way to the unsinkable again, fought it, they didn't get the unsinkable quest

no, my guy joined late and couldn't get the start of one of the faction quests, he can't even get it on his own private servers. so he will never have the smuggler quests
so the games pretty fooked for parties rn wich is sad. but hopefully they fix the quest problems soon

So swapping servers and letting it respawn just worked for us this time
so its not completely broken but still not great

If their quest is not finished they can simply sail to same spot again and devourer will spawn for them
