I have a strange problem that may be an Xbox Ally X issue, unsure. I’m playing on an online server on a ROG Xbox Ally X and almost every time I move my cursor over a craft-able item that has the gold icon next to it for new discoveries, I get booted from the server. No idea why.

No, none at all.

Try verifying the game files via Steam (for your cliend and the server). If it doesn't help - I'd try reinstalling for both.
