Hey everyone! We had the issue of disingenuous people joining just to scalp resources from the server. We are trying to find individuals who are joining with the intention of continuous play on the server.

Just so we can chat it up. I find people are less likely to join and steal resources, load up their ship, and leave if they’re in the discord call.

We had the luck of the Black Pearl in terms of finding solid mates that weren’t joining just to salvage resources from our starter islands and pack up their ships (mainly the copper)

I didn’t own a larger vessel at the time so my chests were also raided lol

This is what i have done ,. I got three games started ,. one is my main , one is my " Player tester " game ( see how they are , if I vibe with them and if they try to be a thief or lack team play ) and the third just for resource farming. lol

So yeah, I at least stick it out with three games. Mind you , the resource one is a last resort type when I just dont feel like destorying a nice looking island just to get wood or something.

Yeah, its a peeve for me when I tell someone , " hey , I dont want to deforest this island, so stick to the old stumps , downed logs or sticks till we hit another island. " and yet , they start chopping.

in hosting game people resets the server sometimes and everything comes back but diddnt know in dedicated servers its gone forever. wow

Hey guys, were still looking for some people. Sorry for letting a few people in, but after some questionable Mates join we're reluctant as to who joins. Currently, there are 3/7 players. All chill, all veterans. If you consider joining we ask that you make this your main effort server. We like to openly share and help everyone, which is why we have had people join who we gave tons of our time and resources only to leave.
