I tried playing this game yesterday too and was stuck for like 20 mins then closed the game. I haven't played the demo or anything before either

I have also tried turning cloud sync off and still does nothing

I just relaunched the game and it brought me to the create character screen, Is it fixed now then?

Thanks for the report. The most common fix requires turning cloud saves off and after that deleting your saves to create the new char.

So yeah, this should work

But we still don't have a 100% solution for this problem. Its just so far this solution worked for most players.

I tried the sync off yesterday and had no luck, and I didn't have a character yet in the game
