#Disconnected when a player joins

Using a dedicated server from Indifferent Broccoli set to 10 players. We've had several instances of all players getting kicked from the server when a player joins (different players, not just the same one), always well below the 10 player limit. Server status is "online" with no disruptions.

After this happens, a couple of players are unable to rejoin the server at all until restarting their computers and resetting their wifi entirely.

So one player joins and all other players are kicked?

Can you please provide server logs?

Having trouble finding this- would this be on my computer or in the server files?

No, it should be on computer of player who controls charatcer named "Bean the Blackheart"

#

He should do

Win+R -> %LOCALAPPDATA%
and then archive folder \R5\Saved\Logs

That is me. I'll keep looking.

Thank YOU!

#

Indifferent Broccoli just let me know that they pushed out a fix on their end in case it was a server issue as well. Fingers crossed.

#

We;ll look into it anyways

#

I'll keep it open for now

bronze oriole
#

Or you still encountering disconnects

Ah I see

#

So if it happens again, would be great to get some detailed report.

#

(if possible)

#

I.e.

  • 17:30 john connected and steve disconnected
  • 17:40 steve connected back but mathilda disconnected
Here are log folders of server, john, steve, and mathilda
#

We're trying to dig through logs, but hard to distinguish player initiated disconnects from crashed ones

#

Exact timestamps would help a ton

ivory brook
#

Heard, we'll keep track of timestamps and provide log folders if the issue persists.

Thanks a lot!
