Tree saplings / ficus sapling giving 1 wood

i noticed that banana trees drop 1 seed, and 3 bananas, which is quite normal, but when you try to harvest scrubs / tree / ficus saplings they only grant 1 seed, and 1 wood / fiber,
shoudnt they be granting more wood? or is this a bug perhaps?

Hey! Thanks for the report! Try waiting for tree saplings to grow some more (into proper trees) - they should then give a proper amount of wood.

i've waited lets say 1 irl day for them to grow, then we can press E to collect the tree, then it only grants 1 wood & 1 seed

it does indeed still say Sapling, but since it does not show "Growing" anymore, i would expect it to be fully grown,

& its the same with ficus & scrub seed/saplings, they also grant an low amount(1 fiber or 1 wood..)

but the text for banana trees says: Grows only in the seedbed, while it can be planted on regular ground,

I have noted this same bug as well, the text never changes from sapling, I had one planted for 30 hours or so and it still only gave 1 wood.

Thanks, banana tree has a localization issue, it will be fixed.
I got an answer about trees - "sapling" part of the name will also be fixed. For now they are intended this way - more of a decoration that you can use when building big bases/gardens. But it might change in the future to provide more wood.

would be nice if they provide more wood, since wood is quite limited, i know we can order wood, but would be nice to have our own tiny wood farms 🙂
