#My evolving solo starter base (90h)

Dock area, kinda unfinished tbh because i don't wanna what vendors i want , so looking kinda empty
mill area with the view of the main house ( the one where i have the respawn at + cooking )
first thing you see is the bonfire "monument" when you fast travel belt into the base , this monument then branches to the production area or south for more residential ( where you'll see the first house, and more specific production )
this is the main workbench area , to the left there is tanning stuff
this is the south production where i have more specific benches here and their extra stuff, alchemy , weapons, clothing etc
very simple smelting area on the left side of the hosue
this is the farming area right side of the house ( still in residential from south of bonfire )
interior of house #1 ( panning left )
interior of house #1 ( panning right )
this is what you see when you fast travel here , the house on the right is house #2 ( decor kitchen firstfloor and jewelry bench 2nd fllor )
Starter base ? You got lucky or gather a lot off money for all those building item you have.
Im still at the start area after 20 hours. Still have to beat the first boss haha
Love it! So many details and nice ideas! 👍
It is amazing !
Oh no like i consider it a starter base because i'm not building anything bigger then this but it has all the benches and production areas including chapter 3 stuff etc (Not adding any other houses/builds)
a medium base would be whenever windrose gets a major upgrade and i tackle that that would look 100% different, a megabase would be windrose hiting 1.0 and just build a massive pirate settlement etc 💯 but that's my definition of how i categorize these bases, exactly how i did in grounded 2 bases too
before and after
before and after (pier)
I love to worldbuild in my survival games, so i decorated my spawn point 0,0 nothing crazy just simple because i'll never be there but it's knowing the area is a bit more built
i did the same with the spot you first build your boat , made it look like an actual restoration crew had to spend time there
Finally added the tower for this bases's signal fire

i damaged it a bit on purpose , right side tried to make it look like it got struck by cannon fire , and on the left side just deterioration , i might free place some stone walls to make those cracks smaller but i doubt i'll post pics of that since i took these alr
gg's
Church build done
and with this , i make my starter base official complete
next base i'll make will be with either a future update to windrose and i'll aim for a 3 bonfire size area
I might start work on the foundation of the 3 bonfire but will be in a different post

https://youtu.be/7rHLA1b1Rbw and this will be the last update on this , a base tour video
This is my evolving starter base tour
I consider this a starter base that i evolved over the time of early access (about 90hours)
I like to play games this way with a following major update setting the pace for a medium size base and with a megabase following 1.0 of Windrose so stay tuned
I know i said i marked this base as complete but looking at it's composition of 1 house ,1 kitchen/jewelry combo , 1 market/crafting area , 1 medium size church, 1 medium sized port,
i felt like it needs more housing , so im tackling a tavern/hostel combo right now to make it more realistic
the happy accident of adding such a sized tavern/hostel , it made my alleyway aesthetic even more tight
