A friend of mine in Australia has rented a dedicated server from GPortal and when we go one, the lag was quite rough for all of us (even if it's only one person on) when we had to fight something. And it's annoying that we cannot see the ping rate on the game. But just wondering if anyone has a GPortal server and experiencing anything lagging as well?
Because my friend has had used GPortal in the past and never had any lag issues.

I believe the dev's have stated that they are aware of the routing issues and latency issues. This has to do with their stun servers. You could always try and ask GPortal to migrate your server to another geographic location to see if that helps any.
Other than that, we wait!

You actually can see ping, you can enable debug options in game settings
Post it here if possible to check what it your ping
on average your server was around 35-40 ping (at least for me) and 16-25 |Ho |Ho ? (I have no idea what the second ping means)
but when it spiked, it would go up to 100 ping or higher and I saw 600+ |Ho |Ho
It's like framegen related. do you use dlss?

Can you try enable FPS cap to 60 then and see if issue still happens?

Though I've noticed my ping rate does go up a bit when I lower FPS rate cap
that last one is when it normal at 60fps cap
Could be some sort of connection/packet loss issue? Frame cap doesn't interact with ping in any way
I suggest asking Gportal for support, maybe their server is too far from you

I'll talk to my friend as she was the one who rented the server from them. But GPortal nearest server for us is in Sydney (and that's the only server in Australia) and we are close. She's used GPortal in the past for other games and never had any issues like this before
Hey there 🙂 with that issue i would recommend to write our support a ticket on the website and let them check the connection etc. It might also be that there is something with the hardware itself so they can directly look into it 🙂
