Context: Server runs great with no issues while players are logged on. After all players log off the server goes stale/dead where it appears to be running in the CMD window but I am unable to access the server locally or from outside the network.
thank you very much sir! passing those to our tech team so they could investigate
but before I do... can you please elaborate a little bit on this please and provide more details?
You can connect and play on teh server via your game client, but you can not access the server after a certain amount of time> it's not responding? have you tried connecting to it with a game client while it is in shc a state?
- Server is started using the StartServerForeground file on the dedicated server machine.
- Myself and others can then login and play the game with no issues.
- After everyone logs off for the night the server goes into a state where we can not see or access the server from any machine until I close the CMD and reopen the server with StartServerForeground file.
thank you for the information!
just to be sure, these r5 logs that you have provided they are from the crashed server, correct?
Correct. I closed the server and captured the logs right away.
Our tech team will look into this matter, when I have any feedback I would try to reach back to you
Adding another log from today when the server was unreachable and required a reboot after being online and stable with players online.

All logs are shared and I was able to post a few more
or are the logs you provided above were also server logs?
very sorry for that yes can see them
Perfect. I was trying to add as much information as possible each time I have to reboot.
my sanity swims, the reports I mentioned were your reports, i have submitted them for our tech team review but no feedback yet
Ok thank you π
good day sir, we can confirm taht this issue exists, we are investigating it and trying to figure out what could be done about this. but it could take time π
Thank you. Should I continue to post logs or just standby until the fix is found and implemented?
I believe we have enough information, we just need some free hands to start looking into this π
thank yo uvery much and very sorry that you have encountered this issue
Its early access and let the team know they are doing a great job. The game is a blast to play and its success shows that.
Thank you very much sir!
Interesting new find to add.
Attempted to login to my dedicated server, i was stuck at loading screen for 5 minutes with no activity on the server machine or cmd window. Pressing ctrl+z on the cmd window seemed to unlock the server and text started to scroll and i was finally able to login.
WORKAROUND FOUND
I have created a work around that apears to have fixed the issue where my server goes stale and wouldnt let anyone join.
I created a task in windows to run the startserverforeground file every hour. The second server fails and closes the cmd immediately but it seems to keep all the ports open so my main server can function without any issues. It has been online now for about 36 hours with no disconnects and no stale state where I or others are unable to connect.
The second server fails to open but attempting to run it seems to fix all my issues.
I got this idea based on the above ctrl-z above kick starting the server and allowing it to be played without a reboot.
Thanks, I'll pass it to our tech team
