i set up a dedicated server via nitrado...i am able to see it and connect via the invite code...however i have a couple friends that get a "server not found" error when trying...can we get help please?

Hello @candid gate , thanks for reaching out, I'm Gabriela from the Nitrado Support team and I'll be more than glad to assist you.

It's been useful for some users who were not able to join a server to stop it, wait until it is stopped, after that go to your confifguration files and edit the Join code, modify the last character if you want to, and save the changes, and start your server. Once started wait a few minutes and ask your friends to join it or look for the new invitation code.

So for 20 pop was a old ark server which I stop paying for tried swapping didn’t work so I thought let buy a brand new server and still nothing

is your friend able to test it with another network? Or attempt restarting steam and opening the game again?

I would say it might be worth to check from another network too.

We tested it and we were able to join, it might be an issue on your friend's ISP

Hard to narrow down, but its usually the route taken to the server, or the connection within the route that could cause an issue. If the server would be preventing connections it can potentially prevent everyone from joining, but we could try to add a test server to your account and see if you are both able to connect to it.

And my firewall is only setup for incoming connections. There's nothing in there blocking any apps labeled Windrose.

peer to peer connections could be locked, might be worth trying to turn down firewall rules temporary
