As an example HaruHost is a paid for application which can support hosting games using steamcmd. With that said, https://playwindrose.com/eula/

3.1.b
Hosting, Emulation & Ancillary Services Host, provide, or develop matchmaking services, server emulators, mirroring services, tunneling services, or any other unauthorized infrastructure or ancillary offerings related to the Game.

Could the development team provide an official clarification regarding the use of third-party server management software? Specifically, we are looking to confirm if tools that utilize native Steam information, without altering game files or bypassing security, are permitted under the 'unauthorized infrastructure or ancillary offerings' clause of the ToS. Our goal is to ensure full compliance while hosting games for our community.

Hey!

Access to our Dedicated Server via SteamCMD is provided free of charge (you can find more details in our Dedicated Server Guide: https://playwindrose.com/dedicated-server-guide/).

We’re genuinely happy to see the community exploring and expanding the game through mods and additional services. That said, please make it clear in your communications that any support related to your service is handled entirely on your side. Unfortunately, any bugs or inconsistencies that may arise from such setups fall outside of our support scope. We kindly ask that you support your users directly in these cases. We also cover this topic in more detail here: #│game-updates message

Thank you for your understanding. I’m happy to discuss any questions or implications here or via DMs.

I'm interested too. Do not want to use another server manager then HaruHost 🙂

@fringe citrus @quasi garden is there any possibility of getting this answered soon? The specific part is your EULA claims 3.1.B - ancillary offerings related to the Game. which every AI agent seems to infer as a catch all clause. So to restate the question - are game server managers tools and hosting services allowed to provide Windrose dedicated server management and/or Windrose dedicated server hosting without your explicit permission for the tool? If it requires explicit permission can HaruHost provide these dedicated server management features?
