While you try to make your character and give a name, as well as renaming a ship, there is a fatal issue while using letters. apparently all of the letter used seems to works, except for the letter A. If you make a name and press A, the name get deleted for unknown reasons.
This happens for both the character naming and the ship naming.

I'll have to look at that and test out when i'll be back home. For now we had issues with the character and ship naming.. didn't tested out custom naming markers.
To.. actually "bypass" the issue we had to write the names on a text file and then do a Copy-Paste of it ingame. If the markers act the same, i guess we'll have to do the same "trick" again 🤣

Tested out with the MAP MARKERS. The issue doesn't happens with them

Yes. We further tested in and it seems to be random... apparently... sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.
We tried to rename the characters like 10 times each of us, and same with the ships
Tested with multiple naming
All caps, no caps, mixed caps
We can't figure out how to make it happens
