in a few different conversations, the player character is referred to as male even if they are female. so far, i've noticed it during the introduction ("take the artifact from him" and "it's eating him") and by backing out of hiring an npc character ("i'll be here if you change your mind, sir"), but it's pretty likely that there are more examples i haven't found yet.
