#dedicated server problem

When I turn off my dedicated server in the evening and my friends meet up again tomorrow to play, and the dedicated server comes back on, everything is gone. It generates a new map.
It's also not possible to adjust the difficulty level before the server starts. There's no admin menu like in other online games where the admin can change settings that are then applied by the server.
There is also no file like serversetup that can be modified.

can you please tell me what kind of dedicated server you are using? self hosting or you are renting somewhere?

can you please go to the server's folder
R5/Saved/SavedProfiles/Default/RocksDb/0.10.0/World

and tell me how many folders you can see there?

Excuse me sir, I though the issue was that you had a fresh world when you launched teh game today, instead of the world you played on previously.
You are encountering ocnnection issues right now?

I've got this issue too. Every time the server restarts, a new world folder is created.

@full crater we have seen a few report likethis today so we are investingating this right now.
Can you share some details on what kind of server you are using? Self hosted \ rented dedicated serer etc.

I am hosting it through AMP application by cube coders. I just launched the server using SteamCMD and the bat file and that seems to work fine. I've got a ticket in with Cube Coders to make sure it isn't something in their scripts that is causing the issue.

Thank you @spring knoll I just got a similar response from someone in the AMP discord. The description on the box I feel is a little ambiguous as I skimmed over it assuming it operated like a Minecraft map seed option where you didn't have to worry about setting it.

@full crater it's hard for me to understand what is the person talking about on the video. Was it able to resolve your problem?

Yes, ultimately there is a box on the top right of the settings window at 7:22 where the world id (seed) needs to be typed in. Otherwise, AMP will tell it to create a new world folder. Which is opposite of what games like Minecraft does it. My issue is resolved now.
