So like this:
When running (shift + w) hotkey button 1 is not workable to use.
Button 2 - 8 works fine.
Example:
You have your weapon at 1, but you carry an Axe in your hand. If you now press Shift + W to run, you cannot access the weapon (select on button 1) during the race. If you set it to 2-8, you can access the weapon while running.
Only button 1 doesn't work !!!

I am not experiencing this issue 😟 , am able to switch weapons just fine. Do have any shortcuts set outside the game or anything like that?

If I am standing or walking slowly, button 1 can also be used. This is only the case in sprints (shift + w).

mhh, but in all other games it works to press "Shift + W" = 1-0 !!! Last thing what i could try: to change keyboard layout from swiss/ger to QWERTY english. But i dont think it will helps.
