I'm having the same problem with the same server.
What's weird is I used the dedicated server from steam and hosted a game and others could see my server out there.
I just can't see this other server that's being hosted

are you runing it from another PC or same PC you are playing on?
For my current issue I'm running the game on my pc trying to connect to a friends dedicated server running on a different server in a different state
We play other games with similar setup where she runs the dedicated server and we can connect just fine.
There are other players connected via the invite code and they were able to find the server just fine

turned off ipv6 on my ethernet network connection, flushed dns, and rebooted, we'll see what happens here shortly

imma tag into this one. i have the same problem. i can host and they can join, they can host and i can join. i just cant join the dedicated they are all able to join. followed all mentioned steps above aswell.
i even tried to join via steam friends list and it loads but then kicks me out saying error server not found.

Do I understand correctly that you also can not SEE the server yotu would like to connect to when you enter the invite code? not that problems happen when you are tyring to connect to it?

(1) HOW TO FIND LOGS
Game logs are located here:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\R5\Saved\Logs
Server logs are located here:
R5\Builds\WindowsServer\R5\Saved\Logs
To get there, open Steam, find Windrose in your library, right-click it, then go to Manage → Browse local files. From there, archive the files in the Logs folder and share them with us.
Please name your logs in a way that describes the problem, for example: Crashedwhile_fighting_Dodo.log
(2) HOW TO FIND SAVES
Your saves are located here:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\R5\Saved\SaveProfiles
Please close the game before archiving your saves!
If you are playing on a dedicated server:
• Stop both the client and the dedicated server.
• Find and archive your server logs and world save.
Dedicated server logs are located here:
R5\Saved\Logs
Dedicated server saves are located here:
R5\Saved\SaveProfiles
To get there, open Steam, find Windrose Dedicated Server in your library, right-click it, then go to Manage → Browse local files (or go to the folder where your Windrose Dedicated Server is stored).
Please close the dedicated server before archiving your saves.
(3) Please also include your DxDiag report
This is your PC specifications in .txt format:
• Press Win + R.
• Type dxdiag and press Enter.
• When the tool opens, click Save All Information.
• Save the .txt file and attach it to your report.
(4) Any additional screenshots and/or videos are HIGHLY appreciated!

Try port forwarding! I had to open up 3478, and then I was able to connect to my friend's dedicated server
Good day gentlemen. Just giving a heads up...
- you could try using this app - https://one.one.one.one/, it helped alot of players to overcome similar issues (most likely cause - ISP balclisting windrose.support)
- We have relasd an update today that allows direct IP connection. It was a rushed sunday patch from our end, i really hope that various server providers should be able to support this functionality on their end during the week and this could alos solve your pporblem
