CAN NOT JOIN NITRADO SERVER

The sever is showing that it is running on the website and we are able to find it in game but we are not able to join it it brings us back to main menu or crashes our game after a long loading screen any tips

So its a Windrose issue, Nitrado just posted this.

While the server is running, settings cannot be changed as Windrose overwrites settings consistently during runtime or shutdown with data from its cache

So until this is changed servers are pointless

This is fairly standard server tool behavior, but it wouldn't cause problems on connection - thats something their team needs to investigate.

Making changes to a server tool is almost always best done via
-> Stop Server
-> Edit files
-> Start server

The server tool could have had handling to account for this (e.g to avoid undoing your edits while running), but Minecraft, Space Engineers, etc all do this as well 👀 Nothing game breaking, just a notice to you if you wanna edit configs to stop the server first

The rest of the notices there (Connection/Startup hang/etc) are all Nitrado side

This is insane, I have never had to do this for a game before just to connect to a dedicated server.....

It's been 48 hours for me and I still cant connect to mine.

2 days paid for a server I can't use
