#Connecting to dedicated nitrado server crashes client on connection

I have a bone stock dedicated 8 man server that I rented for me and my friends. We can connect to each other just fine, but none of us can connect to the server. Nitrado console shows the server as Up and running, I have restarted it multiple times. The ONLY stock setting I changed was the server password.

We can find the server just fine, but the client crashes about 15 seconds into connecting to the server.

Any help is appreciated- I have made sure that there is no anti virus software or VPN software running.

Can you confirm if the server version matches the client version (usually shown in the dashboard or logs)

^ This, and it sounds like there's something going on with their dns from what you're saying

Server Version

0.10.0.1.6-02cb3254

#

all of our clients are on 0.10.0.1.6 as well

If Nitrado doesn't have the correct DNS servers selected, they might not know about Windrose's P2P servers yet

#

It'll take time to propagate, or Nitrado needs to change something

ruby magnet
#

it's been up for 3 hours now... DNS would have propagated.

But that would all be confirmed or denied by your server logs

let me try reconnecting and see if it throws an error into the logs

#

i see some errors in the logs but im not sure if they are relevant

livid crystal
#

Do they have a way for you to get the full log?

#

It could be in their file manager or something similar

ruby magnet
#

there is ... I'm looking at it now.

livid crystal
#

You can send it here, I'm happy to take a look

ruby magnet
#

there's this large error... but i'm not getting any new errors in the logs when i try and connect...

#

let me restart it and see if i can get it to generate anything new

#

thats a server error if you ask me.... not DNS

That's the generic "You got disconnected" message

#

Have you contacted Nitrado?

I havent contacted nitrado - as far as they're concerned i'm sure their container is working as intended.
