looking thank you
it lookw like you can not establish connection to the outside word. DO you believe you can check your firewall settings? To see if your firewall or antivirus is blocking it?
should be ok

sorry for the inconvinience will send my message as a screenshot, for some reaosn discord is not allowing me write it to this thread
sorry got distracted answering other people back now looking
can you send me a bigger screenshot please? so i can see the entire message on it?
the package ie bsing blocked midway somwhere, trying to ffigure out what could be done
if not a secret where are you trying to play from?
Belgium, at home by wifi to modem (if thats the info you needed)
sorry, tracking the right people t oadvise on how to approach this
will be back asap
thanks for the great follow up already
so... the issues could be that somewher edownthe rooad ipv6 protocol is behaving wierdly
Press Win + R
Type ncpa.cpl and press Enter
Right-click your active connection:
Wi-Fi if you’re on wireless
Ethernet if you’re wired
Click Properties
Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
Make sure Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) stays checked
Click OK
Disconnect and reconnect, or restart the PC
That forces that adapter to use IPv4 only for now.
can you please try to do this and tell me if there's any improvements
followed the steps but unfortunately no improvements after the restart (also double checked if IPV6 was re-activated after the restart but no only ipv 4)
will be back
can you try to flushdns?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWaYyfeBC_Q&t=138s
2.43min - 3.52min and then restart PC and now u can host game
The Domain Name System (DNS) plays a critical role in making web browsing and downloading files over the Internet possible. A DNS lookup will translate the human-readable domain name into a numeric IP address that computers use to communicate with each other over a network or the Internet
A slow lookup by a DNS server will cause the web browsi...
unfortunatly i encounterd the same unknown error
after flushing dns right?
Wel I changed those settings according to the vid, but he didn't say that that would flush them but I did restart after
just a random idea... it might not be problem on your end, but on the person you are connect to's end...
CAn you try connecting to this server please and see if it works?
f4fd526f
hmmm...
okay give me some time need to investigate further... will see if we can come up woith other ideas
sorry for the invonvinience
also
can you share the new log
please
after you've gone through flushdns process
i did read somebody saying somethin about turning on UPnP or something but don't know if that will help or how to
ill gather the logs now
this is something I haven't seen yet... if you find something that worked for you and share what it was that would be amazing help.
meanwhile going through your logs and trying to figure out what next steps could be
i enabled it on my pc but it unfortunately didn't work
give us some time plese, our engineers are looking int othe matter... trying to figure out what could be other solutions
No problem, I understand and I'm already very glad with the help i've received truly
@ornate fern can you please see if you can help here
I am checkign this threat as we have same issue.
TLDR:Nothing worked and we tried what you are trying now. only VPN fixed it .
Long: Friend 1 living in city next to me. same provider, has the error. Nothing worked ytou mentioned or even more thing we tried. Friend 2 different provider, different city also and it works. Also tried different people for hosting.
As I am looking at the support, many people have same problem or similar. So you are not alone
Windscribe VPN is ot bad and free also ad free
thanks for the message, might be a good backup solution, but i'd prefer another fix if possible
@quasi vortex Could you execute command with more output info?
look likes all is good now, try start game plz
unfortunatly
could you load fresh game client log?
Pitching in with the same issue. cant host/join/or setup a dedicated server.:
@ornate fern Skipping the cert check with -k gives http 200
@deep flint IP address is another. Could you flash dns via cmd "ipconfig /flushdns" and try again execute curl
following the thread as i have the same problem, already flushed dns here
we have idea could you check it? 8.8.8.8 is google dns server
same
it seems endpoint certificates are being blocked by ISP's. i might be wrong though
yep, we have same idea
is there a way to make the game ignore the cert checks for now?
apblockpage.prod.tln.securingsam.com - look likes same DPI service in ISP for checking traffic for security purposes.
yes. i bielieve its a part of safety feature ISP's bundling this with no option to turn it off.
its weird af because a friend of mine who lives very close by with the same isp managed to host a game
(i couldn't connect though)
My friend and I have the same problem. They have two computers on the same network, one connects immediately and without a problem, but the other one can't find the server or host the game.
Other guys from netherlands had same issue - they whitelisted our .windrose.support domain and it resolved ir
Was ISP issue
Same case - two PCs from same network
yeah i am talking with my ISP to whitelist it
my ISP insist that its not on their end.
same, still getting same error
@ornate fern
I turned off IPV6 in router and added my local address to DMZ as well. i am now getting the nslookup to look good. hosting the game takes longer to load but eventually comes back to main menu
nm, back to same issue
if you look at mine im getting the same server as you, but still having the problem
i can actually host, but if i try to join with an invite code, i get the unexpected error (happening on 2 different dedicated servers, 1 nitrado and 1 bisect hosting)
yes, my friend turned of ipv6 and setup dns for ipv4 for 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and yes he is now conected to dedicated server
i see, i managed to bypass all of this and i am able to host using VPN
what vpn ? i tried with radmin, warp and windscribe, still cant bypass
its an internal vpn i use from my company but any vpn should solve it
dont forget to restart the game when you connect
can i ask you what the nslookup look to you when connected to the vpn?
does it let you insert a invite code if you try to join instead of hosting?
cuz i can host too, have same nslookup as you, but cant join dedicated servers
is there a fix found then? or are VPN's te recommended resolution for now?
i didnt try to join yet....ill try to soon and update
it seems its the solution for now.
i fixed it following another support post by disabling ipv6 on my pc
disable ipv6 then restart pc
interesting
Disabled ipv6 before for me it didn't work but VPN has solved it for now
@daring hound
@rigid pecan
Seems to be the way for now
@prime summit @ornate fern @ancient tapir
After a lot of digging and phone calls i narrowed down the action you need to take for this.
These ISP's are being secured by a company called "Sam Seemless Network".
https://www.linkedin.com/company/sam-seamless-network/
I contacted their VP of security and finding the best person to contact for this
@prime summit Feel free to contact me directly to continue this conversation as i can't contact you
@ancient tapir Will get to you probably a bit later after we deploy patch
